help me.
okay, anybody set up a wireless router? I just realized I suck at technology. I followed all the steps and its making me want to pull my hair out. Any tips?

okay and apparently I can get wireless on my ipod touch but not on my laptop or my tivo? I'm thinking something stupid with firewalls? any suggestions or maybe I'm just missing a major step. I have no idea.

Fixed it! wheee I'm posting from my laptop. next job is to set up the tivo wireless so I can download shows automatically! All I had to do was reset the router, I wish I could have figured that out sooner. So that means I can sit in a really comfy couch and watch tv and play on the internet :D :D

Also crappy weather is crappy. looks like rain and I heard the evil S word, yep snow....Hopefully not yet.

SNOW? ALREADY? FUCK. That sucks. I hope it doesn't come here next. I hate snow.

All I know is sometimes wireless routers are mean and you have to beat them to a pulp to get them to work. Or just mess around enough on your computer til it works. Restarting helps too.

Make sure your computer is set up to be wireless and it's turned on. I thought mine was on my old one but the tech guy at the store had to fix it because somehow it got turned off even though it said it was on. Computers LIE. Technology just likes to mess with us.

Snow is evil especially if you live Canada, everybody loathes it when it comes. usually we don't have it until Halloween.

I fixed it, I just had to reset my router which took forever but weee I'm typing this from the couch on my laptop! freedom :D :D

Yeah usually we get really fucking cold at the end of October and November gives us the evil snow.

That works too. Hehe. Glad it's working for you now!
